About

I began my small company in the spring of 2003. One of my long-term goals is to remain small, focusing on premium service with a strong interpersonal emphasis.

There are many candidates and options to consider in choosing a professional to represent your needs, and the choices may be challenging. Will the person perform their work with integrity? Will he or she be an effective communicator? What is the source of their knowledge and motivation? Are they driven by passion, or just by profit?

I would like to begin my story here… As a girl I started planting tiny Viola tricolor (Johnny Jump Up) that I had collected the previous season. I pressed the tiny seeds into the California earth, as I had watched my father do, I sensed that they would need my ongoing care and attention to reach their full beauty.

At that point a lifelong fascination had begun to take root…. I have never lost my awe of the mystery and beauty that comes from our earth.

I have played many roles in the “green industry.” I grew up in California and completed my education in Cleveland, Ohio, where further influences helped shape my approach to garden design. Ohio has many historically significant landmarks, stately homes and spacious “green areas.” After a two-year certification program from OSU, I was part of a team that created lavish landscapes for the country clubs and enormous suburban glass houses this region is so well known for. Additionally, I honed my skills planning and planting

floral environments for many stores throughout the Cleveland area. And through my work for an interior plant maintenance firm, I learned the secrets of how to keep plants flourishing-- even in the great indoors!
